Lung and breathing care
This department finds chest and lung disease early, treats it and helps prevent it. Dr. Asrar-ul-Haq Maniyar is the consultant chest physician. Asthma cannot be cured, but with the right treatment most people control it and live normally.
What we offer
- Lung function test (PFT). Spirometry in the hospital measures how well your lungs work and tracks changes.
- Asthma and COPD clinic. A treatment plan for you, inhaler training and lung rehabilitation.
- Allergy care. Tests for breathing allergies and their triggers, and immunotherapy.
- Chest infections. Pneumonia, tuberculosis (TB) of all types and bronchitis.
- Breathing support (NIV and BiPAP). Machine support for severe breathlessness and sleep apnoea.
