General surgery
Open and keyhole surgery
The surgery team does open operations and keyhole (laparoscopic) operations. After keyhole surgery, most patients have less pain and recover faster. The hospital has its own operation theatre and ICU, so a patient who needs close care after surgery stays under one roof.
What we offer
- Keyhole surgery. Gallbladder, appendix and hernia operations through small cuts.
- Stomach and bowel surgery. Ulcers, blocked bowel, piles, fissure and fistula.
- Thyroid and breast surgery. Tests for lumps, and removal of lumps that are cancer or not cancer.
- Accident and emergency surgery. Operations at any hour for belly injuries and sudden surgical problems.
- Clean operation theatre. Strict rules stop infection. The theatre has modern anaesthesia machines.
